Is Domino's pizza now paying customers to pick up orders? ›

Facing a driver shortage, Domino's is paying customers to pick up their own pizzas. Domino's is giving $3 tips to pizza delivery drivers — that is, to its own customers. Faced with a shortage of workers, the chain this week began offering to pay its patrons to order carryout instead of delivery.

Exclusively available on the Domino's app, to avail the service, the customers need to select 'Takeaway' option on the app and choose their preferred pick up store. After entering their vehicle details, orders can be placed to be picked up in next 15 minutes.

It's easy to get carryout pizza from Domino's. If you place your order by phone, just tell us you want to come and pick it up. If you place your order using our fast and convenient online ordering system, find your location by entering your address.

You can still order your pizza online or via our app on iOS or Android – just select Collection instead of Delivery!

Order in Advance

When you order online, you can designate the date and time, and one of Domino's pizza crew members will deliver your meal right to the door. Or, if you prefer to pick things up yourself, you can select the exact time you'd like your food to be ready.

Domino's delivery charge is not a tip, nor does it go to the delivery driver. We encourage customers to tip their drivers for great service.

After your order arrives, place cash or your signed receipt in the open pedestal and your delivery expert will wait until you safely step back. You will then be provided with change if needed and your transaction will be completed.

Our helpline volunteer, Rob regularly holds domino drives. He invites a group of people, and they play 24-30 rounds of dominos or another game in teams of 4. They have a scoring system, and then once all the games are played and the scores added up, they give out prizes to the winners.
